The Bel Sonore Chamber Ensemble was formed by Thomas Bulgrin in New York City and is now based in Chicago. The ensemble performs a repertoire ranging from classical music to jazz standards. The group has performed at countless weddings, receptions, parties, and other social, civic and corporate functions, as well as recitals at such venues in New York as CAMI Hall and the Brooklyn Museum. In Chicago, the group has performed in the Prairie Crossing Concert Series and 4th Presbyterian’s Friday Noon Series. Bel Sonore has also performed for the Lyric Opera Guild, Harold Washington, Northbrook, Conrad Sultzer, Skokie and Schaumburg libraries. This talented ensemble of flute, oboe, and bassoon, with soprano voice performs a repertoire ranging from the early Baroque to Jazz standards
